I'd LOVE to see it pull on my Cup 20-60 lol! I have no doubt it would pull on my lightly modded Cup over 120 but anything below that a 240 HP CTR won't be going any where. Guys mods are
K&N Typhoon(he had a AEM but Typhoon made more hp when tested), Toda manifold, Magnex 6x4 oval system...
Guy near me has a 235 hp CTR, mods are manifold, IK, exhaust and a unichip he runs same times and terminals at 1 mph more than my 181 hp Cup used to(both RR at same place, also do same 60 ft time)
Only mods on Cup were panel filter, de-cat, exhaust and R Sport ECU. Since added a Maxogen...
Has anyone bought the following kit from K TEC?
http://www.k-tecracing.com/show_product.asp?id=1026
Does anyone else know who sells a kit for around 800 ish?
Cheers
Neil
Love to see a 230 hp CTR murder my Cup with Maxogen, exhaust and R Sport ECU, just aint going to happen. Guy near me runs his 230-240 hp one at Crail and runs the same times/terminals as I was before I fitted a Maxogen (only had panel filter b4)
LMAO why are you arguing?
Climate control you say? Well air con will have the same gubbins minus a fancier control interface, auto windscreen wipers, cruise control, auto lights lol are you for real? The wheels will weigh more, and the alloy bonnet but even if it was 10 kg lighter the mark 1...
There is a red 172 that drives around Dunfermline SP03 R?? Drives it like hes stole it, never had a chance to put him in his place but his time will come :-)
The mark 1 172 weighs roughly 1100 KG (even with the alloy bonnet) as tested by a few Clio Sport members on a weighbridge. The mark 2 weighs about 1110 kg.
I've had a few things (biggest thing was gear box out to fix a leak) done under warranty and I've got a Maxogen, R sport ECU, De-cat and exhaust. They don't say a thing about my mods.
Mine said I did an average of 31 mpg but I only did 230 miles to a full (i.e filled to top and filled back up when light came on) tank. Don't trust it.
Result seems very optimistic, would love to believe it though because if your making 212 with those mods mine will be making 220 + come the end of January (which it wont on a Dastek RR)
Really like those (look gash but thats not what they are about) How reliable are they? What sort of power do they put out standard and how much can they reliably go to?
