Benj, Ive had the tracking checked but what do you mean by "castors cambers etc.." where I had it done they used laser tracking equipment and he adjusted the near side trackrod about 3mm.

Yeah there diffinately black, however there is two white marks made with a paint brush on each spring- dont know if this means anything?
I was sure they were the original springs but if they dont list black then maybe not. if they are not how will i findout what colour the original springs...

I get a tick as well but mines due to the trip calculator under the mileage being stuck on 510 miles!, driving me crazy-will have to try and take it apart to see if i can free it.
Question is before I take it all apart should I be thinking of replacing the upper mounts, top strutt bearing at the same time? cars done 110,000 miles and its on original shocks and struts. Dont want to get it all apart and find i need to replace other stuff as reno garage is a few miles away...
