Ah flying as well! What a guy. I got the usual 152,172, Archer, Arrow and R22 bits in all without ever following through to get my licence. Also 6 hrs aerobatic in a S2B which is the bit that I remember!

Also everyone should consider that sometime the ones killed instantly are the lucky ones. I know several survivors who are virtually in a living hell as the result of surviving nasty crashes.

Seen it before. Thankfully I have neve experienced that sort of thing personally. Required viewing for all of you "road racers"! And you dont have to be going real fast to make a real mess of things...Id be willing to bet that the Ferrari wasnt traveling quite as fast as claimed.

Well the only one I know for sure is 5th. 6500rpm rev limiter 220 on the speedo, 195/50 15 tyres. So dont any of you guys get a speeding ticket trying to get that last number for the Captain! I did it nice and legal like on the autobahn. Sure could use an overdrive or one more gear!

Yes we need a car like this. But we need it to be built by Renault to Gp N regs. This way it would be affordable. I am sick of the new WRC formula where the like of Ford, Skoda, Citroen and Peugeot get to build these one off "funny cars". Renault at least had to build a bunch of R5 turbos...

I did 8 laps of the ring yesterday and must agree that track driving is more of a test of the driver than the cars power. One particularly well driven Audi A2 comes to mind. He was flying!
The ss 1/4 mile is indicative of a cars power but surely the fun only starts at the terminal velocity...

It was years ago now but when we used to run my F Atlantic A on the dyno my tuner was always showing me the BMEP for some reason. Is this related to the VE? Just trying to jog my memory a bit...

Sorry to hear that. We rarely drive that slow on the motorways here. Too bad the rest of the world doesnt look to the autobahn and its enlightened approach. Around this area 100mph or 160km/h seems to be a decent cruising speed where you dont stick out at all. That is on 120km/hr or 130km/hr...
Came back from the shop with armed with a brand new set of torx drivers and would you believe that I couldnt get the car to show the symtoms. I couldnt get it to stop last night and earlier this morning! Damn, I just know that Ill be in traffic with a cop nearby and the shaggin things are going...

Thanks guys, the problem isnt at the hazard switch. I think it is factory alarm related. You know how the thing blinks when you lock or unlock the dor. This blijks for a while and then stops. Then it starts all over again.

The bird just got back with Willy and the hazards have a mind of their own. She says they started flashing when she braked. Now they want to flash when the car is shut off as well. The clicking noise is all the way to the letft in a LHD car as opposed to near the switch like when the hazards...

I got the price for the Clio Renault Sport Jean Ragnotti as they call it here and it is €18,200.41. I think it is the smae car as the Cup. I anyone understands French they might check it out.
