My Willy is completely standard with the exception of a CD changer.
In fact it is still on its original dampers. Scary, that! Sort of gives me the creeps at the bottom of Fuchesrohre.

You are correct there but many a young poster seems to be looking at a used Clio as a stepping stone toward a new(er) one or are buying a small engined one to use until their insurance for the bigger engined one is affordable.
My advice would be that the money saved on modding the first car...

Those of you out there who are buying new and expect to trade in or seel your car in the forseeable future might think twice before doing any irreversible mods.
I know the temptation to make your car look that bit different from the others out there and personlise it a bit but just remember...
Find out where the work was done if possible. If not available, Id walk, but if it was a reputable firm and it checks out under very close inspection by a genuine expert, start bargaining. You are in the drivers seat and make sure the seller knows it! Tell him about all the perfect examples...

err...arent you supposed to allow an overtaking car past. I dont think you are really supposed to speed up and make things dicey when some poor bloke tries to overtake.
Just my opinion, and probably that of the highway code or whatever they call it these days. Could be an offence actually.

Yes,
The ringmini is a very special car and the driver knows the place rather well. I havent seen him in action but from what I hear it is something else.
I havent a clue as to the expences coming from the UK as I am based in Luxembourg, just and hour and a quarter away.
Check out Ben...
Ive not had the opportunity to either drive or lap in close proximity to the other two but yesterday I was able to do a full lap of the ring just behind a fellow Willy driver. His car was rally prepped and was putting out a bit more than stock HP but we were well matched nevertheless. It really...

Opinions are like belly buttons but my Willys wheel is probably the worst one I have come in contact with in some time. Many years actually. The plastic is really horrible and the leather hardly seems leathery at all.
No matter what we were racing we would pull the stock wheel and throw on...

The Williams steering wheel isnt realy all that nice. It is primarily plastic and the middle section isnt at all good looking in my book. I think the stuff at 9 and 3 oclock is leather but it too is very much like plastic.
Get a nice suede leather Momo or something like that if you are...

Handling is a tough question. I like a car that feels almost unstable at first. Sort of darty if you know what I mean. Then when you get used to it you dont notice it anymore. It just does what you tell it to, and lets you know what it is doing. Get into anything else after and it feels...

Joe,
Thanks for having a look it is the nut that you have to hold when cranking out the 13mm bolts.
Need a skinny open end to do the job.
Trouble is I cant judge whether to grind down a fat 16mm or 17mm or whatever. And dopey me hasnt a thing hanging around to measure the damn thing...
