i drove mine like a nancy boy by the sounds of it! lol
didnt even go to 4.5k until 1600 miles
and now after about 6600 miles ive taken it up to 5.5k wooooo
during the week (only 2.5 miles to work) it never goes above 3k as it never warms up
until about 2k it just didnt rev free enough to...
im gonna be going (if the weathers ok) - but not as part of the crew as i only sent my member papers off on friday morning! :cry: - plus i wouldnt be arsed to get up early lol

i had a similar predicament at the time of buying between 80 DCI and 1.6 16
altho more torque....... got the 1.6 on the cheap - and quicker so naaah to the dci
test drove a DCI and yes it FELT quickish (not as quick as 1.6) but just didnt satisfy you red lining it at what 5k revs? lol
the silver one by the chicane coming out of the tunnel looked as if it had a sunroof???

right ive been onto the chaps at POTN about the green dynatwist and ooo they say it will fit the 1.6 16v so question being shall i get it? and will it make any difference i got aircon? (i wouldnt of thought so as its all over the other side of the engine isnt it?)

i dont see the problem with sitting in the middle lane when no1 is around - i drove most of the way to london and around the ring road in the middle lane thro the night as it was only lorries and speeding motorists who can go in the fast lane anyway - plus the slow lane gets cut up by lorries...
just go to halfords and get some exhaust paste (hardens when it gets hot) and wack it over any holes u find (may look messy but easier than taking the thing apart)

well on that note does anyone know where i can get a BMC? ive found loads of places who do them but cant find one that has the 1.6 16v clio listed (altho the "cda flange will be adapted" according to BMC website)
