Im seriously considering fitting the same engine mods as you but see the unichip is it easy to remove or is it hard wired onto the ECU (i would like to remove it for serving etc)

Ive removed the top part of the bench, parcel shelf and carpet for boot now im struggling to remove the bottom part... its seems to be in a swinging joint and not actaully bolted in how do I get it out?

I will say the Cup will pull away from that 172. Do you release my bro has a 172 and I have a Cup we are speaking from personal experince FFS I aint just making it up.
