N70 is great, albeit frustratingly slow, I'd wait for the N80 too

I'd also disable the messenger service, as this often causes problems and reboots machines, but you usually get warning (countdown) with that?

Apart from quicktime and itunes? My mate had one a while back that showed you the album cover as it was playing the songs? Just got a powerpc g4 from work that was surplus to requirements, having never had one before I am well impressed with the MAC OS :D

what about when there's no handsets plugged in, so there's nothing in the analogue side of the filters? If it still doesn't work then it's not your handsets.

start > run > msconfig > startup see if there's anything in there that's trying to start that has been uninstalled/deleted. Also have a look in your startup menu on the start button and see if there's any suspects in there either. Andy

you can always do a show run then take screenshots of each page and get some tech support monkey to write it out on a new notepad for you. Then upload it onto the new switch with the passwords of your choice in... :S

If you're really really struggling, you can download it via the console cable at something like 9600 baud it takes forever though (hours)
