Craig - yeah they are a great improvement. I had some Sony's up front and Alpine's in the rear (don't ask) and to be honest, they were awful! These are a marked improvement, much more of a defined sound with no vibration from the bass. They aren't quite a straight swap as the standard Renault...

Can't help really I'm afraid as I went for the Hertz that don't have the crossovers. I couldn't be bothered with all that extra work, I just wanted plug and play. These are what I have just fitted.

Fitted my Hertz this morning and very impressed with them! A well worth while upgrade for the money! :approve:

Re: Speakers for 182 I think it's 56mm mounting depth as there's a recessed cage type setup in the 182's.

Yeah new headunit + trapped illumination feed = loss of sidelights. Been there done that. You will need to check your fuses mate.

You can order a replacement from Renault Ian using the code for the key (assuming you have it). Mine was about £20 and took 2 weeks direct from France.

Hmmm well as lozzy states upto 55mm the hertz dieci 130 are listed as been 52mm mounting depth I think... so maybe just get away without baffles?? Can't comment on the window situation Matt.

No amps or anything just an upgraded Sony HU giving out 4 x 45w, what speakers for sub £100 would be decent up front? I've done a search but nothing very conclusive!

The standard system in a 182 is 40w RMS.
