Yeah but the adaptor loom reverses the lives as most aftermarket HU's have different wiring to Renault. Have you removed this adaptor?

Your switched and permanent lives are the wrong way round. Swap them behind the HU and this will cure the problem.

Battery is fubared possibly? Does the car start and drive fine sometimes?

No, keys are programmed once and then 'locked'. Only option is a new un-programmed key from Renault really. Cost me around £100 a couple of years back.

Should the 36k include the aux, or is the aux extra on top of the service?

172's had carbon effect silver, as on the gearknob and steering badge. I can't remember what Cup's got but I'm sure someone can help out there. 182's got plain silver inserts/badges, no carbon effect weave.

Best I could do... A wheel with cruise; and the one from the forsale advert, without cruise; The buttons are removable but I don't believe a wheel without cruise will have the facility for adding them.

Not as far as I know. You can put a cruised wheel on a non-cruised car by simply removing the buttons and swapping the airbags, but to do it in reverse I don't believe it's possible. Two mins, I'll find a pic...

The cruise buttons are on the wheel and as such are a separate part Justin.
