Don't tap into the courtesy light, you'll probably blow the fuse.

The expression probably only has rear fogs on the stalk, as above there's probably more to it than just fitting the fogs.
Is there one or two fog symbols on the stalk?
My guess is that the loom is wrong for the JVC as you do need an adaptor.
I wouldn't start messing with the connectors, my first port of call would be getting hold of an adaptor mate.
Fogs you will have to do from underneath. Remove the splash guards then there's 2 or 3 torx screws holding the foglight to it's bracket. Undo them, unplug the wiring and remove foglight.
Job done :)
Fitting was ok, a bit of adjustment here and there and it's near enough spot on (as you can see from the pics!).
Would end early for the right price yeah but it wont be off the car till next weekend at the earliest mate as I've to get my Milltek yet! ;)
