It does fit, believe me! ;) It looks like yours is the same as mine mate, the kind soles at Renault changed the wiring specification on 2005 Clios meaning this new (expensive) adaptor would be needed!

Yes, if yours is (as mine is) a 2005> Clio the aforementioned adaptors will not work George. The one you will need is around £95!

The switch is mounted on a bracket up above the brake pedal. When you press the pedal it activates the switch lighting your brake lights. You will need to look up 'n' under! :)

It could be the brake pedal switch but I'm not sure what that's got to do with the box change :S

I'd say it's the brake pedal switch as Jon says. Failing that though I guess the earth could be loose or similar, do all the other lights work?

CAF to the airbox leave the acoustic valve in situ. :) Out of interest did anyone feel a difference with it removed? I did so reconnected it all!
