that is not a recall, it's an advisory note to get it checked at your next service interval. If it was a recall it would be national, allover the papers etc.
I have the letter too.
You followed me for a little while from Barclays then gave me the thumbs up as you went on your way in the one-way system :)
I really need to flyer you! lol! :)
Nice one Ollie :)
James, I do not believe that the adaptor I am referring to requires the dash removing for installation. However, as it will hopefully arrive in the next couple of days I will post back up to confirm once fitted.
No problems James.
I have just managed to source a second hand one which has set me back £40 as there is no way I was prepared to pay £100 for the privilege of steering controls!
The adaptor for 2005+ Clios is circa £100 James and I think CarAudioDirect are the only place that do it from memory.

If you get my meaning?
You doing it yourself?
Fred, can you buy the clamp for the 182 variant as a separate piece? Everywhere I've looked simply has the standard exhaust clamps?
Also, when the car is cold get under it and feel around the joints. Make sure it's cold as this is when all the metal will have retracted and the leak will be more apparent. You should feel the leak if it's enough to be able to hear it.
Ok, well that joint would be my first port of call. Take the clamp off, apply an exhaust bandage and paste then put the clamp back on and allow the engine to warm up. Have the mounts been renewed at all? If the mounts are worn the exhaust will have excessive movement putting strain on the joint...
