    1.2 8v and 1.2 16v use the same system AFAIK so it should be fine if you mean the 1.2's as your post says ph2 16v only?

    Hmmm...strange. It must be down to the trim level then. My mk1 ph3 didn't have central locking. Welcome to CS btw mate ;)

    No, that's not for the central locking. I had one in my mk1 ph3 and it didn't do anything either. I think it's for the immobiliser but not sure what it does? :S

    A pair of headlights with all the required gear etc can be had for around £350. Then an hour to fit them, I could even fit them for you.

    Renault do a joining sleeve Chris for this pourpose, about £20 i think? Give them a bell. Do a search as I think ollieh did it a week or so back. Drop me a PM mate I can meet tonight or tomorrow night :)

    cambelt is overdue as it's 5years or 72K. A 51 plate is 5 yers old in 2006 unless it'a 51 plate 2002, even then it's still overdue.

    knackered headlight washer, last time I got one it was £7 odd from dealers. If they fit it expect about an hour and half labour ontop of that. You can DIY easily though.
