Exhaust-fitting help please...182

My standard 182 system has recently started blowing slightly at the centre section. Luckily, i have managed to source a used, but good condition system from a member on here.:D It is cut before it goes over the beam i'd imagine, as 182 systems split into two after it.

The exhaust has been cut in order to remove it (without dropping the shocks out i imagine) to make things easier for transport also.

My question is, has anyone fitted a cut OE system before? Or can anyone recommend a fitting centre where i can have it fitted?

i've fitted an aftermarket exhaust that is in two pieces, but obviously that had a fabricated sleeve on which to clamp.

Any advise or help with fitting, ideally ;) would be greatly appreciated, and the help would not go unpaid.

I'm located in the North West.

Many thanks!

Chris

Get yourself a couple of exhaust clamping/sleeves job is a piece of piss. I cant remember the bore but I refitted one a few months back. Just went to the local exhaust centre with the measurement and got them to supply me the right ones.

aha!

good thinking. i'll give them a call.

do they have normal inspection ramps to get the cars up, or the ones that use the four arms?

i'm concerned that i won't get my car up on the ramps, with it being so low

they should't have a problem then?

was yours straight-cut too? there is no flange or collar on mine btw...it's just cut straight from the car.

nothing they can't sort?

hmmm.. i took mine to get the tracking done.... but he did the exhaust too.. mine had a flange onto the cat so they just re-sealed it and put a new clamp on....

they should be able to sort it though
