Yeah they will be doing those bits steve, and yes its the k-tec one DynamiqueDick. I think they do send it off Dan, im not sure though as i guess they could be mobile, ill ask them.
Ive just checked, 172 is 30mm wider including door mirrors, even though thats not the most useful measurement to use in this case it still proves theres a difference.
You can see the wing is wider on the 172 when you look at it joining the door. If you want proof see the dimensions of the car on the Renault website. The track IS wider but that wont effect changing any panels, though your wheels will look sh*t as theyll be no where near level with the arch.
My local bodyshop (V&G crashrepairs in sidcup/footscray), they dont do it themselves but they outsource someone else. Theyve got a good reputation, theres always very expensive cars being sorted there.
lol join the club
Refurbishing will cost you about 40 quid so i wouldnt buy a new one unless you have loads of money! Ill be getting by front left done next week together with colour coding and grille fitted :)
Yeah track is different, the panels will fit though, the track has nothing to do with the shell of the car. Production costs would be too high if they were essentially two different cars.
Did you know the mk2 facelift cost £120m, i wonder what they did??
Id just stick to subtle, medium black tint as its a classic combo with silver cars. If you had a blue or yellow car it would be nice to see matching coloured tints though.
Yeah your only allowed them pre a certain date. We had a mk2 golf gti with some black and silvers ones which looked really tasty, got pulled over a couple of times but no fines or warnings etc. I guess its whether or not youre willing to take the risk!
What makes them gay then?
The Elise goes back to the basic rules of car performance set by Lotus, lightness teamed with an entertaining chassis. As mentioned above theyre cheap to buy and cheap to run and they dont pretend to be anything theyre not. Today cars are getting bigger and bigger...
Im not your average reserved brit, ill say what i feel and f**k the consequences!
Im trying to help the guy out, many people will laugh and wont buy the car off him afterwards..
Not in the wet though, i saw two crashed ones (one completely wrecked) in the snow a couple of weeks back.
Sounds like a cool car barry, is a an import being the auto?
Motorbikes are easy prey..
You sure? MR2 Turbos are balls out cars, for the hairy chested only, i wouldnt say they were good but defintely a challenge, a cup is a doddle in comparison!
