switch the cars ignition on but don't start the car. Then switch sidelights on and off twice (i think) this then switches the auto lights back on. Failing this then the gel pack behind the rear view mirror may need replacing.
the outside temp thing is a common fault but not sure of the fix. As for the xenons, have you recently replaced the windscreen? It could be the gel-pack that's gone.
plug the scart from DVD into the vcr socket named vcr/decoder. Put your tv on video channel and set your vcr to the AV (or similar) channel. Play a dvd and it should come through onto the tv but quality will be reduced!
True but it's a calim which will have to be declared, plus there's no 'other party' to claim the costs back from.

if the coil pack has gone then yes it would run like shite because it wouldn't be firing on all cylinders :) I'm no mechanic so I could be wrong but just trying to help out mate :)
nobody gives a s**t, least of all me I was simply putting my opinion across, afterall that's what this thread is all about surely? Like I said it's her car she can do what she likes solong as she's happy :)
