i would be absolutely amazed if they've fitted a normal bulb to the xenon unit as the complete headlight is different. It's more likely that it's a different make of lamp meaning that it's a slightly different colour. Ask them to check the Kelvin rating so you know they're both the same.

where are they matt?

*Grizzle* Not true, only factory fitted xenons need headlight washers for the MOT, but just for the record I have the washers ;)

sounds like it then, either the actuator isn't gettin power to it (wiring) or it's buggered/seized. Not sure how pricey they are but should be relatively easy. It may just be stuck. Check the linkages are all still connected. Can you hear the actuator when you use the central locking remote...

could be the actuator that's buggered. When you lock the door with the key, does it lock the other doors?

very simple to do, 5 mins tops. When you order from reno be careful as there is 2 prices floating about. One is as f0xy says and the other is about £170!! So make sure you get a quote when they order it! ;)

isn't the plug down where the door meets the front wing? The wiring plugs in there i'm sure. Does leccy window etc still work?

found it :o Using the Sky Remote key in SERVICES 4 0 1 SELECT. Be careful with this because you could screw up your receiver!

Basically need to get into the engineering mode via 'Services' so I can do a channel scan. Without calling their non-existant help line I know there's a way to enter the mode via the remote? Any help much appreciated :approve:

The airbag is 'bypassed' with the aid of a resistor to fool the computer into thinking it's still fitted. I cannot state the size of the resistor, but yes a few people have done it on here.

My modifications add a total of £50 ~ £60 and I have alloys, colourcoding, spoiler, K&N filter, tinted windows and lowered suspension. It really is policy-specific mate.

lol ,I think it will be yeah mate until digital recorders are brought onto the market that can decode the digital signal (like your VCR does with analogue now) but even then I think only the freeview channels will be able to be decoded by a recorder unless it is Sky-specific (as in Sky+) :)...
