Hey ho everyone......the saga continues. So right, my clutch pedal is notchy and croaky (its all i can think of) it squeaks from what appears to be the bulkhead or pedal. Now I know this was cured in my Civic with a clutch change, must have lightened the stress the pedal etc was under and...

Dude, that looks ok to me. Apart from less thread at the top with them being different shocks I don't see a problem. The top nut is only meant to be nipped tight anyway, not super tight. P.s. It would have been nice To get some Fred tm washers in there but you haven't enough thread...

Oh FFS! Right, so i pulled the airbox completely out last night and started in with the mirror and torch to find the gearbox code. Could I? Could I f.... Where is it? I found plenty of wee circle type stamps, no codes there, I also found a few other Renault stamps with number around...

Hey, I just gave the car a wee hoke today and happened to let the car rev down from say 5k in 1st at one stage and the car sounded very coarse. I recall doing this in the civic and it was really sweet as a nut, the engine sounded very smooth Not so the clio. Any thoughts? Jj
