TBH as its a second car I'd be getting a Mint Mk1. Colour coded. Rear bumper off a MkII and sort the suspension and enjoy the toys.
Cups too risky for me. Wonder how many we'll lose this year?
I got mine on F&F and after just over a year after a cost of £12k its probably worth £8.5-9k.
Personally I would not be shelling out on a new one on the brink of the new Clio's release be it a Sport version or not as yet.
However I assume you have paid a deposit and everything so I would...
Does anyone forsee any issues with buying a 5 year old RS with only 5,ooo miles on it?
It has had services at 6months, 2 years and 4 years. No cambelt done yet. It hasnt been specifically stored it just genuinely hasnt been used much and kept garaged.
Thanks
I had hoorible spots on my OZ's. I used Autoglym but they never quite got em all off though it is VERY strong stuff. The only thing to do is use Wonder Wheels from what I read on here.
With my current Turini's I got em boxed brand new and waxed them about 5 times before putting them on...
Would image Clio 172 is 4x100 same as other clio's.
Its to do with how many nuts there are and the spacing of them IIRC. the ET number is the offset of the wheels.
Why oh why would you even mention it...do you think people with BMW mini's and Golf Gti's start saying how they specced a chilli pack or full leather seats.
Its the temp gauge mate. It causes problems. I had mine flooded once and only just managed to start the b**ch in plumes of smoke and that. And it also caused a 2000rpm idle once (i belive)
Ben mine idles at about 850 I'd say but with the new exhaust it seems to not like it if that makes any sense. I mean that at that idle speed it seems to sort of "chug chug" and there's a bit of vibration at the tail end of the system.
Due to lack of back pressure at low revs?
thanks in...
Re: Hayward & Scott - Issues + added idle query
To be honest I was happy with it before, but definitely not now.
I've just managed to remove the cotton mill so the rattling sound has stopped. Had to undo completely the two mounting plates and took a risk really as I did it all with a 13mm...
Well Andy hasnt got back to me regarding the other two yet - I just need prices and a run down on the systems. Have you any info from AWT on this system mate?
