Yeah I flocked it myself, I cleaned it all thoroughly and sanded it all before i started. The top of the dash is fine, it's just the lower parts.
I've never used silicone on it, not sure about who ever had it before me, I bought the dash to flock and swap for mine, just in case it didn't go to...
Anybody else with a flocked dash had the problem where when it's cold the flock shrivels up, it's only on certain parts of my dash, where it's the harder plastics - the lower dash and steering column surround. Once I've been driving for a bit with the heaters on it's fine again. This is...
I'm probably just used to it, been driving the car for a while with the OE seats now. Maybe I'll just get the Xlows and tell my GF to wear platforms ha.
When you say too high do you mean higher than OE? I'm 6ft1 and I don't find the OE too bad, maybe I'm just used to it. I need the sliders as my GF occasionally drives my car. Sounds like the Xlows will be best. Do you know anything about the OMP's sitting wonky?
I'm looking to get some Corbeau club sports for my 172 cup, been reading a few threads about fitting seats in general, just wondering the best subframes to buy for them? Was looking at either the OMP ones or some from Jon Foz, read a few posts saying that the OMP frames sit wonky and are too...
I've recently had my entire dash out to have it flocked. When I've put it back in I've had a couple of issues.
The lights for my heater controls no longer work, the right side of my clock display is really dim, the left is perfectly fine.
Also, does anyone know what this is for? I've...
I seem to be having a lot issues with my rear brakes on my 172 cup scraping a lot. My brakes weren't working the best either so had them taken apart, cleaned and rebuilt by a specialist. They were ok for a few days but they've started doing it again. My brakes are working fine but the scraping...
Sorted it today, went to the scrap yard, got the female end of the horn connector from a steering wheel, plugged it into the connector on my new squib, put 2 spades on the end of it, connected it to my push button on my wheel, removed the earth spring clip. All working fine now.
I can happily...
I've not had the chance to give this another go yet, I need some new spade connectors for my horn button. I have however got my self a new squib, not sure how this cost you £120, I got one from the scrap yard with some other interior trim bits for £15. I've heard a few people say that cutting...
I'm currently re doing the interior in my 172 cup and want to change the door cards. Can any one confirm with me if the door cards in a 172 and 182 are different? From photos it looks as though the 182 ones are black and the 172 ones are the same colour as the cup ones just with alcantara trim...
I was just looking at them on eBay, http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/RENAULT-CLIO-MK2-01-06-STEERING-WHEEL-SQUIB-COMMS-UNIT-WIPER-INDICTOR-STALK-/112500994668?fits=Model%3AClio%7CCars+Type%3A2.0+16V+Sport&epid=557768658&hash=item1a3194f26c:g:lB0AAOSwNFVZfMLv
I was assuming I can just buy one without...
I did disconnect it originally but I was back and forward connecting/reconnecting, trying to get it to work. Yeah the squib works fine, all my electrics are fine other than the horn
