They rattle like mad atm. I have managed to sort one of them out with abit of accurate filing but have now ordered a new UFO shaped collar thing that sits on the spring top hat as they do not sit flat against the spring top hat?! A bit confusing I know but sooo irritating as so far my dampers...
As soon as I have changed my tyres, got myself a whiteline and sorted out my top mounts which I am having a few issues with atm, I will be up for a trackday so would be good to join you maybe on your first outing with it.
I didn't no. If you do get one that requires welding in, I have a friend 2 mins from me that can TIG weld it in if need be. His welding is perfection! He is not too expensive either

Rough budget for the previous trip around Europe and a good few laps of the ring would be in the region of £700.
Now obviously there are so many factors that can change this, where you eat, accommodation, how many laps of the ring, if you have nights out...
£400?! 2000 miles of petrol! lol

You should get a new one with your new ball joint, therefore you can try turning it and tapping the other end with a hammer. The hole is not threaded so if you do damage anything it will only be the ends of the thread on the old bolt.
