Not quite...
Only mods were a Pipercross Viper and the rear seats were out, but the car was still fairly new with only ~3500 miles on the clock!
Was a good un though. :D
;)Well I was going, but looks like Im going to Creamfields now...
I used to run 14.5secs in my Cup at York, Id be impressed if a 106 GTi gets into the 14s as the last one I raced there was an LAD tuned one when I had my 306 Rallye (14.8secs) and I killed it!
Standard 172s generally run...
Theres literally a couple of bhp-per-tonne in it, nothing to make a real difference.
The CTRs 0-60 time is screwed up by the fact that it only does 56mph @ 8200rpm in 2nd gear, the gearing is very close, so the extra change makes for a marginally slower time.
In the 0-100 dash, which is a...

Well mine had gearbox failure, broken engine mounts, brake problems, etc... Id call those serious faults, and there are a hell of a lot of common problems on the Clios.
Tends to be the small, stupid, niggly faults that annoy people most though, and the Clio has loads of these.
Not saying the...
No, I mean the "old ones" as in the EK9 CTR, DC2 Integra, etc... not the later iVTEC models like the EP3 CTR.
Mine is a 2002 car as well, same as yours, and they do have a kick when VTEC engages, but it was like an explosion on the older cars, that was what I meant...
Having owned both, the Civic is built better than the Clio...
Its true, CTRs aint 100% perfect, but then again nothing is, they are however one of the better ones!
Onwed my Cup for 9 months, bought it new and it was in the garage all the time for faults, wheras the CTR goes to get a...
