That's what's going to happen. :)
We have roles designated out for dash sign writing, organising cars coming onto the stand, and then parking on the stand..
They're OK.. for what they are.
Cisco Aironet stuff though.. VERY good for wireless range so it does make a big difference.
I've found Linksys etc.. really poor with anything more than paper between the access point and the device. It's luck more than anything a lot of the time, Heh.
For...
The daemon is Linux by the looks of things.. The screenshots are just viewing it from a Windows browser ;)
"1.Introduction Welcome to ZoneMinder, the all-in-one Linux GPL'd security camera solution."
It looks good, too.. probably good enough to warrent a "CCTV Server" ;) :D
Wireless speed is independent of the internet connection speed..
If you're getting 1.5Mb on the wireless, your signal is probably poor - 802.11g is 54Mb, which isn't achievable, but 20Mb certainly is.
Because the only time you'd use the voicemail is if the phone is off == no answerphone on, out of signal == no answerphone available or yer busy == which can't handle two calls at once?
The only time it would work is if ya just ignored ya phone..
Heh.
It's an access point.
It won't have a DHCP server built in.
It may be set to get an IP automatically itself.
Plug it into a network with a DHCP server in place, check the leases to see which IP it gets, and then connect to it that way.
We sell a lot of Dell stuff.
I have a Latitude D420 as my own laptop.. which is designed to replace my Macbook Pro, and, I think it's up to the job (which, is quite something, as IMO the Macbook Pro was the most perfect laptop around.. but this Dell is starting to sway me :))
Why don't you just install a 2003 Server? It runs perfectly fine alongside a 2000 server.
You do get downgrade rights tho on licensing (MOLP), but there's not much point in this case.
Possibly.
They want everyone on Sky+, as they know once you have it, the chances are you'll always want it. I know I would NEVER get rid of it.
Upgrading to HD, they won't do you a deal on though.. full price.. but upgrading normal -> Plus, you *may* get something.
Mine was free box and free installation.. (recommended by Dad who is already a customer)
You just have to wait for a good offer.. free everything was the Christmas one :)
They're always doing deals though, so prolly worth waiting for one of them..
The friend offer on the website just seems to be M&S vouchers at the moment.. altho, I'm sure I had something through the post recently which meant free box or similar for recommendations..
Ah, yea..
Sky site:
-Sky World subscribers will receive all of the Sky HD channels.
-When your Sky digital subscription includes Sky Sports Mix, you’ll get Sky Sports HD1 and Sky Sports HD2. When your Sky digital subscription includes Sky Movies Mix, you’ll get Sky Movies HD1 and...
Use OSX in the day and reboot into XP when you want to play games on an Intel mac :rasp:
I dunno what I'm doing with my MBP.. may find it's way onto eBay I guess.
I guess that wholey depends on the stuff you use ;)
Saying that, I've got a Macbook Pro doing nothing.. as I've just bought a Dell D420 running Vista :o ;)
Windows 2000 Pro was very good, but, there's absolutly no reason to go back to using it now.. XP is equally as good with SP2.
And, just use Vista.. seriously. :p
Or sell up and get a Mac.
I think it's all down to drivers - 2003 Drivers are very good.
On the other hand, if you have good drivers in XP, it's just as solid.
Hardware for hardware, there shouldn't be much in it.. things only become unstable when you install lots of rubbish - which you will on a desktop. Servers don't...
