Clio Cup or 172 as company car

Theres a noticable difference! I had my mates 172 for 2 weeks before I got my Cup, as Id sold my Rallye and he was going on holiday, so it worked out I could use the 172. Anyway, I jumped out of that and into the Cup and its a harder ride for sure.

Nope their not .. sorry.. the 172 drivers seat has lumbar adjustment. Which (if you read my 2nd post) I already mentioned... Aside from the lumbar adjustment (had in the past and never used), do we agree that they are the same under the skin?!

Clio Cup or 172 as company car

My mate has a mk1 172 as a company car and has put on 54k miles in just over 2 years. He loves it as it does about 40mpg on the motorway, comes fully specced up, its quick & handles well, plus it has been reliable (honestly), so there is no problem running one as a company car. The Cup...

Attn: 172/Cup owners with a Viper

The Viper is one of the best induction kits you can get and Im very happy with mine" I know they cost a lot, but you get what you pay for and these carbon filters like the Viper, BMC, etc, all cost the same. There is no issue with engine mappping there have been fuelling tests on 172s with...

    P**sed with Power Zone

Theyll just be going off the info Superchips provide, so like you checked the website to see if it was possible, the guys at PowerZone will probably have looked at a similar list... Both to blame though as PowerZone should really have checked for sure!

My mate (rally mechanic) reckons Im better mounting it higher up behind the grill, as oppossed to mounting it low down (like Id also thought) so as not to suck up cr@p & water from being so low down...

    power loss!

Could be the fly-by-wire throttle actually... Does it feel like youve just jumped off the gas pedal though? For the revs to drop though Id say it was most likely an igintion based fault.

Got my mate on the case... When I get one of those hose clips with the captive nut attachment, Im just gonna make a bracket to bolt it to the engine, as theres some handy holes already there. :)

Attn: 172/Cup owners with a Viper

Did it come with any kind of bracket for securing the filter and holding it in place when you bought it??? I bought one 2nd hand and there is nothing to hold it in place, so it just moves about in the engine bay, but I want it to be fastened in place. On the K-Tec site it shows some kind of...
