I know a lad that grafted a 16v vent onto a Nova bonnet, which also has a ridge in the middle and that look surprisingly good.
Not a cr@p Nova either, this is a very tidy 2.0l 16v on TBs!
So why does it have the black door handles off a QS and not colour coded ones?
Also, it appears to have the front headrests from a QS (or an early GTi) and where are the rear head rests? It doesnt have the black side mouldings, so must be a post 98 model, so would have leather & alcantara...
Well, if were gonna do 106 GTi pics...

What a car! :D
Same basic car, but weighs 89kg less due to the removal of certain luxury options, plus the Cup has altered suspension gemoery and different shocks & springs, so hes right, it aint just a 172 minus some toys.
LOL
When I had my 106 GTi on the rollers at a 106 vs Saxo RR shoot-out, my pretty much standard 106 made more power than both the LAD tuned VTSs on the day...
Correct...
In my 106 GTi there was a kick at 5000rpm and in my 306 Rallye there was a kick at 4500rpm, yet there is no VVT on either car.
Thats just the way it is.
p.s Nice topic ressurection! ;)

Exactly...
Chriss Cup ran 14.4 in full standard road trim, on standard wheels & tyres, with just an induction kit and an R-Sport!
This is how he drives the car everday and these are real times hes getting!
However, Tims is f*cking rapid! ;)
