How about REM shorting out on the chassis somewhere.... but the fuse in the HU wiring loom isnt the correct rating. So it's producing a short circuit, which tel the ECU to not start the engine? Mad guess. But check the remote wire for grounding! Will it work as long as all cables are in place...
