Dayco kits are good quality, you won't have a problem with them.

lol i removed my steering wheel in about 5 minutes, airbag wires were easy! Tell you what you remove my throttle body plug, and ill do your steering wheel. haha

DCOE's are fine i used them, but you'll be spending £320 on a manifold and adaptors. The adaptors need widening out to be perfect too (i just filed and then sanded them, took a while).

To late now :p I remember when i first did it on my mates 172, i pretty much destroyed the plug lol cracked in half pretty much :/ The fists of ham were strong that day

Plug on the throttle body makes me rage, snapped a bit of the clip off mine, and i was being gentle :(

Yeah standard RS stamped inlets. The join from the upper to lower manifold appears to be very closely matched from the factory, certainly one of the better sets ive seen. But from what i understand most of the gain is from the join from lower to the head, which i havent had apart to look at...

Yeah be pretty peeve'd if i walked out with 189bhp lol, im more interested to see what it will do with the actual torque spread than the peak power, hopeing for 170ft'lbs across at least a portion of the rev range.

Pointless, should have just used ally and chopped about £100 of the price, would have made the RS2 ever so slightly more justifyable for purchase ;)

Think it should be technically, apart from the gearbox tray and mount are different.

Used to do this a lot (been a year or so). Need to figure out what manufacturer of drive it has. Samsung, Hitachi are fine, LiteOn require a special probe tool. You need a SATA cable to connect it to a computer, and a was of powering the drive (i made a custom cable). Then the neccesary...

Cams are in, with new kit (that was a fun job), engine feels very good indeed although im not pushing it to hard, different note. Roll on 30th Jan for mapping :)

My mate Gaz originally had his ITB'd Clio build mapped on JDM's dyno (by APD), it made 243bhp and 209ft lb's. It then went to RS tuning the next day and ran 209bhp. I'll let you work that one out.... lol

Took my stock cams out today, they look just like that, small oil staining lines on the lobes just like yours. I would say they are standard too.

Just bang the engine into the car (when your planning to use it), change the oil after 100 miles. Change the coolant after 100 miles. Drive as normal forever after

So the car made 10bhp gain (with cams) over and already mapped car. That's not *that* bad is it??!
