    I got beaten over a 1/4 mile by VTec Abusers Civic Type R. Think he ran 14.65 standard. 14.8s and 9s most of the day. Over that distance its about the same as a standard Cup. I drove the Civic and really liked it. Totally different car to the Cup, but still great.

    Thats just the order they were released in. There were three versions of the original "boxy" shape Clio. Its now clear that there are three versions of the "curvy" version. Then well be moving on to the MK3, phase 1 "canal barge" shape.... ;)

    Around 25 indicated on ours too. Have had 40mpg with careful motorway driving (eg: me in the passenger seat).

    mongoose exhaust!!!

    It does sound nicer from outside than from inside! Seems to give more power, and the car is good to drive with it on, but the main reason I got it was to get rid of the 4k rattle, but thats still there!!! Ill try and get some pics taken this week.

    I was starting to get the 4k rattle so Ive now replaced the whole standard exhaust system with a stainless Devil de-cat pipe and a stainless steel system. This fixed it for a few hundred miles, but....... :cry: its back again. So.....is there really no known fix for it?

    Nothing wrong with spax at all. Made in the UK and perfectly good springs. Used them on two 172s and have covered nearly 20k miles on them. Ignore the badge snobs.

    My Williams had a badly adjusted door lock from when it blew out of my hands in heavy winds and slammed shut again. Local garage did something to it for free and it worked again. When it was broken the door always looked slightly ajar.

    Early mk1s only had one lambda, later ones (without the gear change light) had 2 sensors.

    Ecotec valve’s

    Its nothing like a power boost valve! Power Boost valve is just a fuel pressure regulator that you can adjust to give more fuelling if youve got a lot of mods. Do a SEARCH for "Ecotek". Youll read about what its suppose to do and about how it makes a "schluuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrppppppp" noise.

    Have you still got the connectors? You could look at the colour of the wire going into the side next to the clip. The wire colour varies back and front, and between models, so your best bet is trying to work it out from the connectors.....if you still have them!!!!

    Have you cut them yet? The wire next to the clip on the connector is the +ve. I had the same problem when putting my JBL 526s in.

    Ive had a Williams and 2 172s. When I had the Williams, I missed my 1st 172, now Ive got a 172 again, I miss the Williams.
