You could also go with a Perfect Power SMT6...basically the same as a Unichip but more mapping points, and you dont have to take it to a Dastek dealer to sort out problems...in fact you can even map it yourself with a laptop and the free software from the site...

Not at the moment...my throttle cable is about to snap (hanging on by 2 threads) so I have to drive around like grampa with depression.

1.) They rattle. Some leak water through into the boot, Ive had mine now for about a year and a half and the onl things to break was the speedo unit in the gearbox (I drove it too hard), and Im going to replace my throttle cable today but I drive the car very hard with regular 1/4 mile days...

Anyone ever snapped one or come close to snapping one? on the weekend my throttle became sticky and kept getting stuck at about 4000rpm. checked the cable and its all frayed at the pedal...only 2 threads connecting it to the pedal... How much to replce the cable? is it an easy job to do...

I think the Dynamique comes with more goodies...or is it the other way round. Best bet would be to get to a dealer and pick up some pamphlets

Well there is a guy here claiming his Clio 1.4 16v with only an airfilter is making 92hp & 114lb/ft @ wheels wheras my 172 makes 114hp and 106lb/ft at the same altitude So Im having a real hard time believing him, unless his figures are actually flywheel figures @ sealevel

Well Ive since started thinking that having the car sitting in the sun (30 C / 35% humidity) with the engine running, and the fac the car is a dark colour really couldnt have helped my result any, so Im gonna take the car to the same dyno one night this week to check again before we install the chip
