what i usually do is peirce the rubber grommet, then get a pair of needle nose pliers in there, to open up the hole whilst u push the cable through, then get a mate to grab the other end and start a tuggin!

i do it downshifting, seems to go into gear a bit easier.

is it just clicking off? i know with my valver i have to hold it at an angle, to stop the cut off clicking in every 2 seconds!

in my first car (micra), i put the passenger seat fully down, and lay diagonally across the back seat and the passenger seat, not the comfyest but a bit more leg room!

i think its quite comfy! spose being only 56" helps though.

is the iso connector pugged straight into the back of the head unit? sounds like a remote live (ignition) may be switched with the permanent live.
