yeah the mk1 clios all have farely heavy clutches especially the valvers. something you get used to, but if you feel it is extremely heavy then at a guess could be clutch cable frayed?
oh i used the bootlock, but this is a bit more hard work as i had to strip the boot lock down http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=5&TopicID=134810&SearchPagePosition=1&search=derv&searchMode=allwords&searchIn=Author&forum=5&searchSort=dateDESC&ReturnPage=Searchsee here
welcome to the club, thats one hell of a jump from a Ka to a v6, nice one! not sure bout the tape player, thought the cd changer would be under the passenger seat like the 172s not 100% bout that though.
they aint that far from me, been down a few times, he has a nice mk1 v6, a very nice scooby doo, theres always a mint williams parked down there, think neil (the main geezer) has various different cool cars too.

my bros mate has got a 19 16v, basically same engine, on 150k+ i think, and it is driven hard! if they are looked after they will go well! ive heard of willy engines going past 200k
think the common place most people have used on the new shape clios is the grommet where the bonnet release cable goes through. been covered many, many times on here lol, shame the search function aint up to full speed.
i got that one off http://www.caraudiodirect.co.ukwww.caraudiodirect.co.uk think it was about £6. better than the crappy ones at halfords they are selling for £12. i was very concerned about cutting the old connectors off in case it all went wrong, i even had to undo a loom support cus it...
right todays task was to get rid of those stupid screw down things that renault have kindly put on the battery terminals, they really are crap, my positive side one was battered and loose so it had to go! first bit was to dissconnect the battery...
probably the temp sensor (on the underside of the passenger mirror) has been disconnected. mine did this and i wiggled some wires and it went ok again, never done it again since!
personally id say about £200-£250 a month pob a slight over estimate but that includes petrol insurance, mot services etc, and a bit more to account for any parts that need replacing.
just thought id share this with everyone, incase someone has made the same mistake i did. basically when i earthed my amps i just bolted them to the boot lock, it worked so i carried on with the boot build. now i have been told that even though it works it isnt an ideal earth as it was. i had no...
think my mate got a front wing for his nova gsi from there, and it was about an inch too long! and all the holes were in the wrong place, ended up binning it.
