I'm sure there's a trick with a screwdriver where when its touching a part with a worn or loose bearing it makes a different tone...a bit like tapping a loose wheel nut is a different sound from a tight one.

Mine is now 172.1 bhp at the fly.It was only 167 after l had the Janspeed fitted and felt a little sluggish. I had been using Asda 95RON fuel though and on Shell Voptimax it feels like it did before the exhaust change but a bit sharper on take-off. Paul told me that 172-177 is about average for...

It will evaporate very quickly so best when the engine is cold.

Definitely sounds like a fuel leak in the engine bay. Maybe wait until cold then turn the ignition on to pressurize the fuel lines without starting the engine (is that right on a Clio....was on a 205 Gti ?) and check for leaks.

It's putting out 172 at the fly...up from 167 when l arrived.Feels much better now although l was hoping for more.Still with no mods apart from the Janspeed l'm told it's about right so no worries.

...my car to make? Its done 27k,has a Janspeed Supersports system and was re-mapped by RS a few years ago.No other mods.... My guess is 182 BHP ;)

....if the Trophy's dampers are fitted to a 182 Cup will this give the Cup the legendary ride/handling that we here about so often? Is it a straight swap and does the fact that l have Eibach Sportline's fitted cause any issues? Personally l'm guessing that you'll most likey say it's not...

My Cup (before Eibachs) and Darren S's 182 with the Eibachs....

But no real gains? I had my 182 Cup done by RStuning and it will rev higher and the throttle response is slightly better if l use Super Unleaded.

What are the optimum engine revs to change gear when trying to extract the maximum 0-100 times from a 182 ? And what revs should you hold before dumping the clutch ? (In the dry of course...on a private tarmac runway ;) )

Just changed to a Janspeed Supersports exhaust...does the ECU adjust for that?

Back in the day l used to have my XR3i's and 205 Gti's tuned every 6 months or so.Does the 182 require the same thing...maybe an RR tuning session? Its on 26k and just had it's 72k service (as it's 5 years old).

Unplugged everything and plugged it back in.The Realtek audio manager found the device again and this time it worked :S Hmmm....

As above :S I have been given a Dell A810 scanner,plugged it in,loaded the disc and my PC tells me that it can't be used with this version of Vista !! ARGGGH :S Is there any way l can get it to work or do l need a new scanner ?

It was working...l just moved my PC to vacuum and l pulled the wire from it to my monitor out.Plugged it back in and no sound !! If l right click on the speaker icon,select sounds and then playback l can see the speakers bar moving up and down to the sound and it tells me they are working...

I've got an N95 (16 bit) on Orange.I have just got the 'Canary' package but if l go online whilst at work l've a couple of issues. Firstly,l use the '£1 till midnight (the same day) unlimited browsing' option. Do you think this is good value? Secondly,although BBC News,CNN,Cliosport etc...
