i tend to wait until the enigne is running warm (usally 5mins or so) before taking it over 3,000 revs. Then wait for the oil temp to reach half way (about 100 i think?) before taking it to the redline. It makes me laugh when i go out to my company carpark. Theres a kid thats just spent over 4k...

P.S a set of DS2000s is what u need. (upfront that is)

i was quoted £35 for rears (so thats 4 x std pads) not sure about fronts - better going with after market ones m8 - my pads have saved my bacon many times

Theres loads of loop holes in the warrenty m8, basically the car need to have a full services history with corrosion inspection checks every year. You cant just take the car in for a new rear wing becuase its less then 10yrs old and has a spot of rust for instance. This is only what ive heard...

If it was just any tatty 16v then maybe.... but if we are talking about your 2.0ltr black clio 16v - then NO! your car is mint m8, stunning in fact i wouldnt swap that for a dirty calibra!! Im not a lover of any vauxhall tho so maybe my view is alittle baised. You would never get the same level...

Sounds like your dogbone mount may need replacing. They wear over time resulting in more play in the engine under acelleration etc.. The gearstick moving or even popping out of gear is a good indication that its the dogmount. I recently replaced mine with a hillpower uprated one - £40 i think it...

i wouldnt worry about a cut off switch fella, unless she listens to the radio @ full volume for hrs on end then battery drain is going to be minimal. I offen listen to CD with both my amps running & sub with the engine not running. More hassle then its worth.

I fitted a set of goodridge braided hoses Monday - also bled my entire brake cyclinder at the same time. The change isnt that noticable IMHO - tho the thought of having a lifetime warrenty & not having to worry @ MOT if one has split etc is worth it. Cost me £44 i think.
