After the trouble i had Monday trying to remove my CAT in order to replace with a DE-CAT im hoping someone will know where i can pick up a set of stainless steel nuts & bolts.
3hrs i wasted trying to remove the bolts holding my cat on Monday - 3 HOURS! the bolts had corroded so badly that we...
Im more then up for a decent RR session, and i have a list of others up for it too put there are a number of things that have put people off the one arranged in KENT.
The main one being location i think, as already advised by alex. Some people just dont like going out of there way i spose -...
ill have a look mate, but im not sure i have.
regardless if its a phase 1 or 2 the problem is still evident on both. Mine is a phase 2 and still my clutch cables snapped like no tomrrow. If the bloke is saying you already have the updated ped (which i cant see how he can tell unless he deals...
Fear not - the clutch cable king is here.... i too have had my FAIR share of clutch cables go on me as most people will tell you.
Where have you been having the cable replaced? ie local garage or reno? Becuase if reno had changed the cable they back it with a 1 year guarantee. Not only that -...
Cheers "cliosportcraig" - night.icon posted this thread for me as i forgot my haynes manual. John phoned through with the above details.
Thanks john, craig.
I read it m8 - bloody hell sounds like a white knuckle readnhalf. Glad you made it out ok, no telling what they would have done had they got hold of you. Time to buy a valver i think m8, you would have left them for dead had that been the case.
Try a chill out alittle - i hope they catch the...
best tyre ive owned, better then TOYOs T1s... id deffo a set of GSD3s again... and the best part is they only cost me £38 a corner fitted! Best £38 a corner spent IMHO.
Just a quick one - can someone confirm if the bump strips / plastic trim protection on the clio 16v phase 1 & 2 are the same? ive got the chance to buy 2 rear quarter strips but its from a phase 1 k reg 16v - mines a phase 2 M reg 16v
anyone??
Ive booked next monday off work to fit a few little toys to the valver. One of the toys being a set of goodridge braided brake hoses. Any tips you can give me before i get started?
i was thinking about getting DOT 4 fluid? maybe the Castrol synthetic stuff, im told any higher isnt worth it...
When i went - they lost my locking key! and bolted the lead weights to the outside of my turbines, rather then replacing the ones which were inside and hidden.
Also took them 2hrs 30mins to fit 4 tyres and correct my tracking! loosers - most of there workers are only just 16 - 17.
Id never...
Hmm - is that the only make of tyre you can have? Its more then likely thats not a common brand / demand - as usally Elite smash all my quotes.
195/50/15s F1s for £38 inc VAT & fitting!! But like i said, id never have my tyres fitted there again.
Alex, dont fluff about doing internet searches - give Elite Motorsport a call in Rainham. They stock tyres for almost and size/profile wheel you want. Prices are dirt cheap to! Just dont let them touch your car / fit the tryes for you tho! There complete tits the people that work there.
a revvy engine is nice - but would you not rather have an engine doesnt have to be forced to scream to get anywhere? You can still have the ECU rev limiter moved from 6.5 -> 7k So you wouldnt loose out on any revs in that repsect.
My advise would be - (if you can find one that is)
test...
indeed - if your going to the trouble of replacing your BE / engine then do it with something worth while. As craig said a 1.8/2.0 or even a GTT is your best option.
