john i put the spax fully adjustable kit on last week.
handles so well, but its still a pretty harsh ride.
Hoping the shocks settle down, I heard it can take upwards of 2k miles :(
Quite funny when you set the shocks to full hard, you cant even rock the car hehe:)
Ill get some pics...
I was liv vic last year, cheapest quote by 200. but they werent as competitive this year, so i went with adrian flux
insurance went from 1200 to 750
if my car wasnt modded i could have got direct line 500 notes:(
You could yes, but if you have the component set...why not just change it all.
Taking the dash of really isnt difficult, it just looks well...scary!
Just be brave, its simple and you will get much more benefit from the new tweeters.
Trust me those standard tweeters are nasty, they used to...
well having spent two days on the phone to insurance companies I have come to the conclusion that the tints have to go.
Not one single insurance company will insure you with front window tints.
So its booked in to have the front two removed on tuesday, so Ill soon have a van type clio...
the law has just been changed, the reason tints were legal was actually due to a legal loophole in the wording of the law.
However following a crash/death involving a motorbiker and a car with dark tints, the law has now been updated and the wording corrected.
Supposidly the police are about...
so you all ready to get them removed?
this new law is just the gayest thing to come into being since graham norton.
i mean wtf 70% light, thats like not even tinted.
Was reading in a mag that between 50-70% they just inform you its illegal,
50-30% they give you a ten day producer to get...
alpine are bloody good, solid and nice sounding...although they are expensive
If your getting it cheap, then I see no reason for not getting all alpine
I agree, if your getting a sub/or two...ditch the 6x9s.
washing cars is easy. i get a streak free gleaming finish every time.
i use the old halfords advanced car wash, its great stuff. First wash all the dirt off and then rinse it with a good few buckets of water.
Time to get the chamoi out. (i use this super dry one from halfords, cant mind the...
you thought think the clio handling is good ?
i must admit its much better now its lowered, but its bumpy as f**k and feels pretty dodgy sometimes.
i think im gonna order koni adjustables at the end of the month...see if that helps:)
i wouldnt buy it again given the choice. Does give a nice sporty roar when you blast it around 4k revs. however ive heard alot of iks on other cars that sound much better.
does look good though:)
right getting sick of my car bouncing about like a bloody kangaroo so ive decided to get some decent shocks.
but after a few phone calls the only shocks that seem to be coming back to me are konis. and they are 374 bucks!
so before i spend a small fortune, anyone know any cheaper ones na?
to be honest, i really recommend you get a new head unit. Ask anyone you like, the difference in sound quality is reallly substantial.
you can run an amp off the renault headunit, you need to get an amp that accepts speaker input. so basically your using your speaker wire instead of an rca...
