Lovin it, apart from in the dead of winter when the whole thing get just too cold to touch for long periods - but then you just learn to shift even...
My guess is youve been through Manchester at some point and a couple of ravers have just snook in to the engine bay for a bit of a kip between sessions, dont worry just give em a bottle of water each and point them back toward manchester and youll be fine :p
Right, just found this http://forum.cliosport.net/display_topic_threads.asp?ForumID=6&TopicID=34804thread where the guys says the original tyres are 175/60R14
So there you go steve no worries with gettin them mate :)
(Note to everyone - remember if you alter the width of the tyre you DO...
Steve, if you go for 175, the go for them in a 55 profile instead of a 60 as this lessens the difference in RR of the tyre
(all of this is done on the assumption that 165 was the original tyre diameter)
Ok peeps - heres a http://www.tyresave.co.uk/tyresize.htmlwebsite that will help you understand the connection between tyre width and diameter.......
No more arguements - it DOES alter the RR of the tyre.
Yes because the sidewall height is a percentage of the width, and therefore the circumference on the tyre increases unless you drop the sidewall percentage too
Hmmmm remember steve that if the original size is 165 and you put on 175s without altering the profile you will have a speedo error (You will be going faster than the speedo indicates)
Ca15 postcode? hmm so youre up in cumbria somewhere then? Im from Keswick though living down in Solihull currently - we should meet up when I take my next run-to-the-hills :D

LoL @ craig - next time choose a pic which dont have wings which are part of the shell my friend,
and the shell is different - no sunroof and roof/chassis strengthening.
The k-tec de-cat pipe fits the mk2 if you have a k-tec exhaust with the telescopic section in it, as the cat section on the mk1 (which it was designed for) is 2 inches shorter than the mk2 cat.
(I am of course talking about the decat pipe and not the sports cat)
Hmmmm youve got caster adjustment on the fk coilovers too? cool
Have you spoken to Nick about this problem? cos Id be suprised if he wouldnt want to fix the problem he inadvertently caused - hes a good blokey.
Ok, youre talking about the oil temperature dial, there is a temperature sender somewhere on the engine block (I dont honestly know where, maybe on the front of the block near the where the dipstick enters??) check the wiring there, you could also check the sender itself with a multimeter as the...
40 on the rears seems a bit excessive, I havent changed mine since my last track day, running 38/34 and although breakaway is a bit sharper it feels better and for alot of high speed motorway work it will be better for your tyres.
