ive had a play with a rs1800 cabbie, was quite quick, but he nearly lost it on a few bends, and on the (empty) motorway, we both levelled up side by side, in 4th gear at about 80mph, then floored it, and the valver easily pulled away up to 110.
The way the wiring works is at the front, the wires run from the headunit, to the small speakers in the dash, then are daisy chained to the door speakers, as you have a 1.2 i take it you have no door speakers? then in some models there are seperate wires to the rear speakers. best bet would be...
its the standard renault one, and its not much use now, the chisel made sure of that:sick: think the guy tomorow will drill a hole, tap a left handed thred, plonk in a left hand bolt and get it out that way.

just look at the rear arches for bubbling rust, check for and crap accident repairs, high mialage shouldnt be a problem, but check gearbox, clutch for wear and tear and also steering rack, as these are all lengthy expensive jobs, check if it has service history and the all important cam belt...
yeah my valver limits at 7800 rpm, guy at rolling road got to 7700 and sh*t himself! but i dont think the willy engine should be going that high, i rarely push mine past 7000 as after that the torque dramatically drops.
as a comparison, this is standard height, on standard wheels.
