turbo heat protection for 182 conversion?

They are good but it's not just the turbo that will give off heat so you will need some nimbus to shield from the downpipe and manifold anyway.

    extracting power from f4r

The alternator and ps pump were the only things used from the n/a engine and they let the turbo lump down! :(

    extracting power from f4r

Not made my mind up on boxes yet TBH and also current funds with a new baby has put it to the back burner. A diff is on the cards but will probably go O2M with a quaife and get the scoff treatment done DIY of course.

    extracting power from f4r

Never really timed it due to not wanting to push it too hard, passengers on every session and then the alternator packing in. Forgot as well, you'll have a diff and I wont so that'll give me and boost even more satisfaction beating n/a. lol

    megane 225 conversion

Cheers mate, appreciate that. There will be some good updates in a few weeks when the new bits are being fitted. I left the standard ecu in place to control clocks ect and used an adaptronic ecu piggy backed up to it to control everything else. Scoff at EFI parts did the wiring and mapping for...

    172 Cup Turbo

You need corrugated tubing as used on the original. I just removed mine carefully and reused it. Works fine.

    Attemping boosted ph1

I've heard of a few people losing wheels on track when the wheel bolts have been torqued up correctly but the heat in the hub has loosened them off and the wheel has overtaken them going into the hairpin. It happened to me when I used wheels that had been powder coated on the hub face. Wheel...

    V16DAF's Cup - RS2'd/B14/Wilwood/2118

Very good work mate. I've got a farmer mate and he's the same with sheds and doing all the work himself. Still very jealous to the stage I know want to be a farmer so I can have a shed like that.

    V16DAF's Cup - RS2'd/B14/Wilwood/2118

Very jealous of the workshop mate, you are a lucky man! Good job on the pipe work too. PTFE tape should have been fine. Did you use enough and tighten them up enough? Is the workshop at your house on somewhere else?
