    Are you going low boost? I have a 2.25" down pipe for Garrett t25/28 turbo if you need one? Make sure you take plenty of pics of everything when you're removing them. It helped me on the rebuild as I didn't do ine straight away after my conversion so things were a little cloudy.

    The clutch on an evo has a far bigger diameter so this may be possible but on a clio the clutch is only 215mm so to get the friction required for above 240 or so, a 4 or 6 paddle would be required.

    I have a standard link pipe from a megane 225 that is 2.25" dia and so can only presume the whole system on a megane is the same. What is the maximum power you would get from the car on a standard turbo with an exhaust of this diameter? Also, roughly what are the power levels of 2.5", 2.75"...

    You don't need a deep socket. Just let the socket sit on the nut then put the ratchet into the socket as far as it will go. There will be enough inside the socket to turn the nut.

    Mine was mildly lowered on kw v2's with the exact tyres and rubbed quite bad on some corners. Was quite off-putting when you heard it too. Rubbed my front arch liners away as well. I would be looking at dropping a wheel size as I thought I'd get away with it but you won't.

    Amazing to see it in the flesh for 2 reasons. 1) it is insanely fast :cool: 2) it is usually broken :( One of the best builds out there for sure when it's working though.

    Took mine off the heater matrix feed and return. Taking the engine in and out is tight but the more you do, the easier it becomes. I must have had mine in and out at least 15 times during my build and will be taking it out again in the next few weeks. Takes me now about 2 hours to get it out...

    Do you need an upgrade intercooler to see that. I've heard of 280 but 290 is very good.

    I would go 38 (turbo) to 51 (intercooler inlet) then 63 (intercooler outlet) to 70 (tb). Seems the easiest way to me. I used 63 all the way so there is space and I didnt know what power level I wanted so over specced just in case.

    Don't see why not. Won't make too much difference I would think on power but would give you less of a step up, step down route.

    Not sure about the t28 but the gt2860 has been seen to 340 so it is possible.

    Why go from 38mm to 63mm and then back down to 51mm on the exit of the intercooler then up to 70mm? Seems like a long way for a short cut to me.
