I have now got a wiper puller, planned to remove the wipers today to have a look round but the weather has been shitty......re the leak, is there a common area where this occurs so i know when i start pulling it apart. It must be quite a bad one because i can see the level dropping when i fill...

A hacksaw will do the job, a dremel or angle grinder would make it much easier but entirely possible with a little hacksaw

Yes - undo the back box clamp and pull the back box towards the rear of the car. When I removed mine I pushed it back on too far and it sat just inside the bumper line

If you know the oil level is actually ok (dipstick) then the problem must be related to an electronic switch - I.e not too much of a worry

If you have confirmed the oil level is fine on the dipstick then it's sender related

I didnt like my old KTR one on my 172 because it was so droney (supersports), i think an element of that is because of the downward facing tail pipe on the stealth, my vote goes with recessed!

I would say its not worth it, insurance and MOT hassle IMHO

As above check the mounts as a starter , you have 4; 1x centre pipe 1x at the rear of backboxes 2x on the backbox These could be at fault and provide a easy cheap fix, if not look at the flexi joint

Just get it nice and high on a trolley jack / axle stands and it will be no problem. I had mine on rear ramps at the weekend and think i could have undone the downpipe to cat bolts , & thats jacked at the rear,
