now i remember ; to fit it over the tube , the filter itself fitted perfectly without the adapter pieces . 25mm to fit it over the pipe, little too big but when tightening it's perfect

^^ yep, it will. (edit; comment/answer to Vincent)
I put mine on the end of the pipe/tube and tied it away behind the ecu-casing. Reasonably out of sight (just in case that it does'nt get spotted come MOT time)
I ordered one which had 3 different size connectors, ended up by putting it OVER...
Cheers there Guys, my car is on H&R's which have done 7k, so those are not the ones needing checking up on. Forgot to mention that sorry.
Anti roll bar bushes, yeah ? These i would'nt expect but will be checked.
H&R are not for track (although?) when pushing to the limits.Maybe a bit soft indeed. But this set recommended by a LOT of people brings me a smile on every thrash run i do.
i do'nt think H&R drivers do them for the "looks" as stated before
H&R is definately one of the best out...
I 'm feeling the car "searching" the road a bit when on full throttle , braking.
What would be good to replace on the front end , which rubbers ?
My balljoints are defo going to be replaced (had a bit of "play" with the plyers on them last time up on the bridge) ; what about for...
My cams were changed for uprated ones , i think they did;nt change this part for a new one because now i'm using/loosing tad bits of oil and have to fill it up once every so...
not disturbing though. Will this become somethng major ?
Like i said, The 182 Exhaust manifold is a must when doing cams and all inlet goodies.
(such a setup WANTS more IN + more OUT)
when not doing cams, i would'nt do the 182 manifold i'm thinking.
Only exception ; when not doing cams but going for the new Angelworks inletmanifold i would...
Matteh have you noticed any change in feel with these mounts compared to the RS ones ? Or have you been driving around with the broken ones so long before that you do'nt know the "feel" of the new oem RS ones anymore ?
mapping is everything.. The manifold comes to justice + i would say is a MUST when doing all the inlet goodies + CAMS !!
When not doing cams, i would'nt bother doing the mani
i have sent you mine !?
... ohhhh uncertainty ; what to do , what to do ?! ;)
It improves midrange , believe us..
It's a b**ch of a job though.. glad i was'nt doing it myself ! My wallet was'nt so glad though...:(
Why do'nt they filter as good ? The paper ones are i think used because they're good enough and a LOT cheaper. When they would fit all these cars with ITG like foam filters from factory you would be paying more for the car when buying it new. Manufacturers want to keep the price down..
The...
the TB is'nt getting dirty by a "cheap" K&N (which are good filters) ..
The crankcase breathertube connected to the elbow frequently spits out oilfumes/residue which is sucked in to be burned .. Evironmental friendly design , sucks if you want to keep the TB clean. That would be you moist...
Yep Motul !!
And the 5w40 is good for cold starts etc. , gives better lube on cold than for example my 10w40. But the 10w40 is supposed to lube better when engine get realllly hot like on track.
Search for oilman ; he's the one with the oil-knowledge round here
mine was rattling , only when hot aswell. i found out it was my back exhaust mount ( backbox) which touched the mount on the car. This one had no more space to adjust ; the oval holes used to mount it to the car were at it's end. I gave the holes some extra space by drilling them out a bit and...
It seems to improve torque.. I've done it too to my cup , love it. I smacked some cams in there while we were at it so i'm not really sure about the difference when running oem..
And when wanting to run decat, this is a nice manifold to swap cat/decat every year for MOT.. MUCH easier to...
With all power on ONE of the driveshafts, when leaning over + lifting 1 wheel in hard curves, will the torque passing through just one of the shafts be okay for the driveshafts / box ?
Or does this mean they will eventually break/wear sooner ?
is this do-able for a road car (gripper) or is it really just for track ? I find the loss of grip becoming more iritating every time when thrashing about
not very true.. they will gain you maybe up to an almost 200 hp like mine (most cases are around 190, 195hp) , but then you also need a decat exhaust, inlets matched and an uprated airintake to go with the cam-job.. No MASSIVE gains to be had with cams.. All they realy do mostly is chnge your...
