Allright !? Well 35 seems a bit steep, maybe it's with a complete new bolt/nut package ? When i was at Renault trying to order mine (much in doubt still) i found out that they charge pretty much for some of those bolt/nuts ; the think itself would be around 16 euros, but in all another...
when i had this problem i replaced them all round.. When understanding later on which have been changed my best knowledge is that only the dogbone + the two top ones are prone to regular changing (on a sport) These are the ones under the most stress
Try any Alfa Romeo tuner / or tunersite. Alfa Romeo (tuners) will have a regular import of these cams.
( i got 10% off the price when ordering direct from these people http://www.acarmilano.com/inglese/azienda.html ask for MAURO BIOSO)
sorry dude.. ;)
But we're talking about a 172 cup (road car) here..
The later 182 models have the bigger hubs, (as the official Sport CLio Cup you looked up) therefore running a different ET value wheels, to correct the track width. I know this for a fact . 172 Cup (ROAD CAR) runs ET...
Jo ! you're wrong dude , they're 38,5 . The wheels you are talking about are the "cup" ones that were for sale around Holland/Belgium ; Speedline Corse ET 48,5. When wanting the same track as the 172 cup you will need 1cm spacers all round with ET 48,5
i was going to get the shortshifter a LONG time ago... you've just persuaded me to give Maurice a call .
Was it easy to install ? And did you also fit the clutch-pin (optional) or left it OEM ?
I was looking for the same ones for the cup Alper ; looked up the partno. on the Renault sport site and i found the number for just the part.
Went to Renault to order , the guy said they only deliver the whole wishbone but i gave him the partno. ;) He was really surprised when he saw this...
watch your watertemp gauge on the dash. Does this still read same as always ?
sounds like your car , when spluttering at 2000 revs but when giving it some throttle its fine up the rev-range, may "think" it's running cold because of a faulty watertemp sensor.
The car has a limiter on...
:D
yep, Green stuff being only a little bit better than Lucas etc. (OEM) .
I'm defo going for some Ferodo DS2500 pads when the Green stuff EBC's are gone. Not too harsh on the discs, perfect
The main advantage of the EBC Greens is that the brake-dust will not eat in to your rims !
I was always saying it is from a V6 Espace 1998 model ; this is'nt true.. It was the models BEFORE 1998 , this because they were also used on the V6 Renault 25 .
Might help a little ?
Chris have you removed the adjustment platform that comes with the H&R set already ?
My car also badly needs to go a bit lower at the back, but it's at its lowest adjustment. Still loving the setup !
A while back you recommended them to me , remember ?
depends on the severity of the crash, and if the engine still runs on impact i guess
it is'nt there for nothing. Protects fuel rail guard on impact
When in a serious crash i think you will want it there or you will die a horrible death
i made up my own panel-thingy with a hole for the caf, indeed to stop the alternator getting wet. Also because i busted the original panel by trying my hardest to remove it :o
i did mine all round , all 4 of them and stayed OEM. Makes a lot of difference , feels like a new car !
do'nt know about the cost because we did them ourselves.
