the Renault 25 also has a v6 model, i think this filterbox is the one they later used for the Espace to cut production-costs
Good to hear about the R25 ; makes thing simpler when looking around / calling brokers+scrappies :)
Alper ; you reading this !?
This has ALMOST happened to me :o
I had the airfilter off and i stuck a bit of papertowel in the TB to keep dirt out while i was working on the filter. Then i had to move the car , like you, and forgot about the paper in there..
Moved the car , opened the bonnet and saw what a f**kface i was...
had a look but i do'nt think these are giving your performance troubles . Rear O2 sensor is the second one (lambda) , which does'nt do anything to the ecu/cars' mixture ..
I think the O2 sensor reading is probably there because you're running a decat ?
yep, never selling and up they go to the attic :);)
Have you noticed "Marktplaats" , a guy selling Speedline Corse wheels for 75 euros a piece brand new !? Might be something for you aswell ? He's got a lot of 'em , think it's because the Clio 3 has entered the racing scene and all these Clio...
nope, this is the crankcase breather..
It's the one that connects below-in front of the TB, front side .. (see if i can find a pic) But anyway ! just pull the tube from the valve and stick a screw in the end..(tad oversize so its a tight fit) job done
I can buy some lovely Speedline Corse wheels, but the offset is 43,5 whichj will come out shorter by 5 mm compared to the Turinis i have on now..
HOWEVER i will be wanting some 205 width tyres instead of the 195 i have on now...
Will the car look silly or is it barely noticable ; these 5mm...
When buying Henk's RStunerPro; you will be able to send him the recording (map) you have done with the new manifold on so he can see what's happenin and tune your car .. Contact Henk about this, he'll definately help you out
^^ You NEED to fix that so the filter does'nt foul the coolant hose !!
(was said before..)
It's fouling the little hose to the left there, actually pushing it aside right now. Engine-movement etc. made mine go bust like that
Check out some people's pics and you'll see a big rubber band...
makes sense ;)
When you get the "Pro" version (little bot more $ , not much) , you'll be able to list the mods, even make a recording/mapping of how the car is now and Henk will send you the map made up of the results of your recording which you send him.. Lot of satisfied CS drivers already...
No you wo'nt.. do like i did and it fits properly. Just remember it also needs to be tied by a rubber band or something to keep it to the right, or it may foul a coolant hose which WILL leak..:( experience i have had
Don't mind the "helpfull" comments..
I had the same prod; take off the elbow and cut a bit off where the housing is supposed to connect on to the pipe. Mind you to leave some space for the "clamp" to go back on. I think it was like a centimeter that you can remove to leave a bit of 70mm...
Yep, and also there is the EXACT Maxogen filterbox nowadays but then not made from carbon fibre, but from aluminium costing less than half of the carbon one . Also made by ITG , so you know it's the Maxogen design just a lot cheaper !
