raise it ! you're going to get SICK of the ride in a couple of days/weeks .. raise it so a LITTLE bit of the rear tyre is'nt visible anymore, front the same only 3mm higher than rear . That would be sexy.
This looks like you are carrying way too much weight around or have been squashed by a...
new lambda is not going to sort it.. second lambda does f**k all anyway, leave it.
The first lambda however, this one is important for the ecu for correct mixture/fueling of the engine. When this one goes faulty the car will go in to an "emergency run" and will barely be able to drive.
^^ sportcats are expensive ! and they are NO guarantee to pass MOT ! I also had one on mine and ONCE it passed , the next years after it failed.
When going for the exhaustfumes test the cat should be red hot ; emissions are least/cleanest then
Good luck making your choice :)
^^ well, the manifold lenght was different (longer) so a shorter cat/decat was needed to fit to the rest of the back system. Instead of welding on a clamp , the Milltec now fits over or into the K-tec system.. i will have to get under the car to check because i do'nt remember which . If the...
I also seem to have a Milltek one since i got my 182 Manifold ; the guy had to improvise and cut up a milltek one to fit my K-tec Stealth. I can tell you the difference is most definately in the diameter of the pipework .
My experience with Milltek, may be of use ..
i would have thought the subframe did the job... when looking at the genuine cup racers they have a top-strutbrace , no bottom one.
a top one on the rear will strenghten up things in the back, might get one of those some day as the 172 rear end could do with one. The later 182's design...
Right; could'nt find the lower one for the RS on Sparco. They do have a Williams , 1.8 16v , 2,0 (old Clio 1 types) lower brace ..
So KAM racing does them ?
strut brace on front of the clio is not all that supposably ; being that the firewall/hull is very close to the struts , so a lot os stiffness already there
i made 161 at the wheels before with a Group N map and ITG panelfilter + exhaust. With the cams + inlets it made 174 on one run , think 172 was the last output. Torque is just above 200NM now , it's an awesome ride ; just right
i will look up the before + after graphs. I do'nt really...
Because they performed very well on just a couple of cars on here, compared to schrick they are a bit cheaper. Your next good choice is Cat cams.
The C&B cams will cost you about 900 euros. Schrick around a 1000 . Cat a little less then these both.
to answer the question "are they as good as Cup suspension?"
PLease... they will not get near Cup suspension. They do look good ! But looks aint everything he !?
(not being negative about a product from the home-land ofcourse !)
mine retained the pulley. Most aftermarket brand cams that say they will run on oem management retain this. When going for very wild cams that need another ecu to run, then adjustable pulleys may be needed for finetuning
i've got Colombo & Bariani Cams, almost the same profile as...
i'm wondering if any of these are going to be torn off the car ...
i can imagine the powers released with no ability for the engine to "tilt" some . I'm trying these next time round but i will leave the dogbone alone , for some "flex" ;)
actually had a very hard time looking something up ; seems i could'nt find the exact link i had last time.
Here in this link it's mentioned that ther is a cheaper fibre glass version of the ab65 ; this is what i meant i think. Costs are a 100 pounds less than the carbon one...
