Took my car for the test again and failed for the drivers side brake being only half effective as the passangers when you throw the brakes on the passenger locks up where as the drivers continues to rotate and doesnt lock up at all, Would a new caliper solve this? tryed cleaning the pads...

If the car is ticking over put the clutch down everything is ok put then go for a gear and the car shunts as it is engaged new cable, new pedal and new clutch 70 mile ago, think the box might be dying its done 110k the box with a bit of a hard life

my clutch went in my car, lifted the engine the clutch was in four pieces fitted a new bb one loads of other bits now still having the same trouble clunky sometimes when changing gear and sometimes grinds especially when taking the revs to 6k+, Any ideas?????

Reason: No door handles will everywhere fail a car for this cos if so looks like the only option is to change the doors every 12 month.

Noticed you have no handles or locks on your car, same here on remote solinoids, have you took it for mot yet cause down my way they reckon it will fail.

i went out from work about a year ago to find the drivers window of my old clio in a thousands bits on the floor just the window the car had gone cost me a fiver to get home the police found what was left of the car in some woods cut into 12 bits with a stil saw they stripped it.

clutch kit cost me £140 but i completely strip down the car myself, About £400 - £450 for a garage to do it You can buy just the bearing but its the labour to replace it what costs so you may aswell put i new clutch in while the box is off
