As the title says. It's a 182 in Racing Blue with both cup packs. It was recently sold in the Wakefield area and the previous owner was a female if it helps
Anyone know anything about this car? Is it on the forum?

I think he's taken the one injector he needed and is now looking for a full refund! Unfortunately there's people who do this quite regularly.
And you won't see me in a clio around Harrogate just yet, I have 3/4 of a turbo engine built in my garage, just no 182 to put it in at the moment ;)
It's not that it wasn't delivered, he's trying to tell me I only sent 3 injectors, not 4. He sent a pic of 3 injectors on the parcel like that's proof! He said the parcel wasn't open when he received it so obviously trying to pull a fast one! (as I did genuinely send all 4)
Brilliant. Royal Mail receipt says 0.154kg it was 4 i sent so sounds spot on. It was only sent in a bubble wrap envolope aswell. Someone from portugal thinking he can take me for a ride!
Weird question I know, but I have sent some injectors recently via post and someone is claiming not all arrived. I want to prove via the weight of the parcel that I did send the full amount. So if anyone can give me the exact weight of a standard clio 172/182 injector (to the nearest gram if...
Like a numpty I have stripped a cylinder head bolt. Tried to tap on the socket and turn it, which just stripped it more. Anyone got any ideas on how I could get it out? Or any solutions at all? Pic below of the f****r
Just because your injector is spraying (and electronically ok) doesn't mean its spraying properly ;) Try swapping them or buy one that you know works then you'll be able to tell if they are sound.
I'm aware there's probably 1000 threads relating to turbos, however none quite give me the precise info I need, so here goes!
I will be stripping the 172 engine I just got and rebuilding it, with the aim of going turbo from the off. However I'm not chasing numbers, so i'm stuck in some middle...
I think my oil breather pipe is pushing oil into my air intake, and causing it to be 'taken' into places it shouldn't (inlet manifold gasket is covered in oil with 15 secs running). Is this bad + is there anything I can do to stop the oil going into the intake via the breather pipe (standard air...
I'm a 'beginner' in the world of cars and took something off on top the engine that had oil under it. Not entirely sure what its called, or what the gasket used is called. Pics below to help. I also found one of the bolts securing this plate was missing, and oil was coming out around it and onto...
I'm in the middle of fixing my poorly 182 and I'm now a bit stuck. I had an oil leak via vvt solenoid seal, cleaned that mess up, replaced the seal and replaced all 4 spark plugs while I was at it, 3 of which looked like the engine was running lean. But I still have the same poorly running...

thanks for the advice. after about 2-3 hours of trying to get it to detach from the metal (seemed to be welded on) with a variety of tools, it finally came out :)
I went to change my vvt solenoid seal as it was leaking oil and looked like it had been for a while. Upon going to pull the old (and rotten) seal out, the visible top lip all peeled off leaving the main part stuck in the circular gap/crevice. Any ideas on how to get the rest of it out? Its hard...
Looking to buy a bolt set for the intake plenum, or possibly just the one missing bolt in the pic below. Anyone know if you can buy them, if so where from? And are the bolt sets on ebay for the engine cover sufficient? If not, where do I get a good quality set from? Cheers
Re: Oil leak, smell of burning oil + petrol? + poor running engine and flashing EM Li
little update: took some pictures of the back of the engine today, before I start the clean up process tomorrow. Can all this oil be from the vvt solenoid?
Well I finally got another 04 clio 182 ff, this time in silver for the price of a bag of chips and obviously it wasn't perfect. Everything is in good condition, apart from the most important part, the engine! So here we go...
From what I can gather from my basic mechanical knowledge, the engine...
Thanks! It doesn't look like it in the pic but it hangs perfectly in the holes - thanks to a little homemade 3rd exhaust hanger ;)
Thanks! Unfortunately I dont have it anymore. Although you were spot on, i was going to get a splitter and get rid of the stupid plates that came with the car...
Well after 2 years of being a member and being clio/car free for 6 months, I'm finally introducing myself as I'm now on the lookout for a cheapish 172 to buy and build myself. I used to own a selection of bikes and a 1.2 clio and finally got a little gift for myself, a Black Gold full fat 182...
Found you by searching for Harrogate posts and thought id chip in! I had the emissions light coming on, then with a good run of 30+miles would go off again. Didn't have any running issues either. Got it plugged into a diagnostic machine and it was the cat's lambda sensor. Although it was on the...
