The springs in my 182 ff (182 with spoiler and cup pack) ride fine and the 172 is softer. You can feel it's hard but it doesn't bang or crash. I would have thought standard would be a cheap good bet. At least until your missus is less fragile and you can put some harder ones back In Should you wish.

Sorry as i said in the other thread it was raining, i was being a wuss and the car just didn't seem strained so we were just giving it 10mins for it to cool a little and then going out again. Didn't help we went home for lunch :(

If you keep the laps down and don't load up the fronts too much by keeping it smooth and tidy they will be ok. It is easy to get excited on the day though and get all ragged which kills tyres very quickly.
