It shouldnt matter what the steering rack is. The ball joints are all the same, they only need the rack make for the track rod ends.
Dialogies isnt much help because it doesnt list the part being avaiable for 172/182s. It only lists the whole wishbone, does anyone know what year/model scenic...
You can disable the internal sensors as said. You can disable the alarm by putting in the emergency pin code as per the manual but thats more for if its faulty or you have a broken key. On a 172mk1 you could do this and then lock each door with the key. Not sure how youd do it on a ph2. I...
Does anyone have to hand the part number for the aux belt kit for a 172mk1??
Last change I, I bought the parts seperatly not knowing there was a kit!! On dialogys it just lists the belt, tensioner and idler as all being seperate.
Theres only 1 temp sensor that's on the thermostat housing. Its the same one used for the ecu and the temp gauge/warninglight. Is the temp gauge on the dash giving normal readings??
Bear in mind the rev limit varies depending on what gear you are in.
This is normally caused by a faulty coolant temp sensor. When starting the ecu thinks the engine is cold/colder than it is. Its also worth cleaning the tdc sensor too.
If its not the radiator, they tend to leak where the bottom pipe connects to the radiator. A extra clip/jubilee clip normally sorts it. The connector on the radiators isnt a very good design.
It cant be coolant if its that far back, unless something in the heater matrix is leaking (as...
If the garage re-used the old bearing i wold be very happy. For a start it must have been very hard removing them from the old discs without damaging them. Another pointer is if the garage tightened the hub bolt too much, this can damage the bearings. A lot of garages dont check the correct...
Basically the standard ports dont match up very well to the inlet, the gasket and the top plenum. The quality varies from car to car. Having them matched improves the flow of the air into the engine. Quite a few have said it improves power mid range. Most 182s and some 172cup have a slightly...
As above the K7M was used on some early mk2ph1s. Its a 1.6 8v. Easiest way to tell is that the engine cover should have 16v on it if its a K4M, also if its a K7M the exhaust manifold runs down the front of the engine, not the back like a K4M
It looks like youve got a bit of a lip on them discs, Id get some new disc (which incluide bearings) from Renault. They have recently dropped the price.
