    Exhaust Mount Size?

None of them will officially fit, you have to buy the whole metal bracket from Renault which includes the rubber. You could make one to fit and hold it in with cable ties, but not recommended if you have a renault exhaust.

    172 Exhaust question

Does it hang low because its not hooked in the mount? Im sure the mount will stretch to hold it in, you'd be suprised how much they will stretch. Might even be worth seeing if your engine mounts will allow for any movement forward (although unlikely). If it still doesnt fit you can try moving...

    Rear brakes dragging

Make sure the pads are on the right way round, the pad towards the piston has a bit that sticks out which rests in the slot on the piston. Carefully peel back the rubber seals and stick a bit of grease on the sliders, careful not to get any mud in there.

New Phase 1 172 exclusive owner!

The cambelt, aux and tensioners is a big job and normally costs around £750-850. If the car doesnt get it done asap it will be a ticking time bomb, the plugs, filters and oil is easy enought to do yourself/cheaply. Have you got any pics of the Celica? always been a fan..

    Arch liners help please

IIRC the dialogies shows it as 2 parts but its not, its 1 part with 2 bits stuck together. The dialogies shows the standard non rs wheel arch, then it looks like the 172 part is a seperate piece but its not, that seperate piece is a whole wheel arch but extended. Hope that makes sense!

    how to run cooler?

I dont think theres a way you can make the fan come on earlier, it is controlled by the ecu. iirc it comes on at 99C and stays on until the water reaches 96C. I suppose you could disconnect it and wire up some sort of manual switch for it, that you can control.

    GearBox Oil Check

You can access it from the top, remove the airbox and look down the front of the gearbox. There is a plastic plug (mine is black) carefully unscrew and and make sure you dont loose the little rubber washer. It should be topped up intil the oil reaches the plug and pours out.
