Thats pretty bad, the pin holding the slider plate in is missing. Bin the pads and you need new discs too.

Part numbers im getting are gearbox upper 8200089697 enginer upper 7700434370 Im sure the upper is the same on all clio IIs, or at least it looks the same. Need you vehicle type e.g. BBOA and fabrication number e.g. k006626 to be sure.

It doesnt matter, iirc it works like a abs sensor, only detects if its moving or not/how fast its moving.

The top engine mount is £68 from memory and the upper gearbox is only around £20. I think the part numbers are the same for the 172, whats your cars code and fabrication code?

Ive not seen one split like that before. Assuming there is no internal damage to driveshaft it should be a easy job, need a new gaitor kit from Renault iirc they still come with the grease). On the 172mk1 (im sure mk2 is the same unless they are held in by a pin) the driveshafts just pull off...

Checked my service history, a renault one was £14.90plus vat 3 years ago so its probably about £17 now.

No idea, theres nothing special about it, the prices have just gone up. Incidently the 172mk1 section is the same but has a longer front bit and thats slightly cheaper! Its a lot of money and will only last 3 years but nothing fits as well as a renault one.

They are all common parts, any Renault dealer will find the part numbers easily and should have them in stock. The oil filter is definatly 8200038408, the washer is 7700266044,the cabin filter is 7700424098. Any make of oil will do as long as its 5w40w Fully synthetic.

Re: Super Unleaded or Unleaded The nitro stuff? I bet that has interesting results if you did try. Its about 75%Methanol 15%Nitromethane 10%oil. They use similar stuff in dragsters!! Renault recommend 98ron and say 95 can be used if 98 is not available. I cannot notice a difference...
